Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to Perspective in Engineering Materials and Applications (PEMA). All submissions are initially evaluated by the editorial team to determine whether the manuscript fits the aims and scope of the journal and meets the basic standards of academic quality.

Manuscripts that pass this initial screening will be sent for peer review by independent experts in the relevant research field. Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editor may request revisions, accept the manuscript, or reject the submission.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should carefully read the Guide for Authors, which provides detailed instructions on manuscript preparation, ethical responsibilities, and reference formatting.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material included in the manuscript, including figures, tables, images, or datasets. All listed authors must approve the manuscript before submission.

Submissions that do not meet the journal’s minimum quality standards or fall outside the journal scope may be rejected during the editorial screening stage.
